ADB database browser (Android SQLite)

To view the database in Android you need to use the adb shell. First you need to find your adb.exe file. In my computer it is stored in:
C:\Users\bruker\Android\AndroidSDK\platform-tools

adb_exe.pg

Start command prompt by going to «Start > Windows System tools > Command prompt» or by searching for cmd.

start_ledetekst.pg

Write
cd C:\Users\bruker\Android\AndroidSDK\platform-tools
adb shell

adb_shell.jpg

Write
cd data/data

cd_data_data.jpg

You should now be able to see all folders within your own package. Here there should be a database also. You can open the database with the command «sqlite3».
ls
cd com.nettport.stram
ls
cd databases ls
sqlite3 StramDB

adb_shell_databases.jpg

Commands

List all tables

.tables

Select all from table

select * from books;

Error messages
